OUR FEES
A fixed-price quotation is possible for a few of the services we render, but generally our lawyers have an hourly billing rate reflecting their skill and experience. Fees are normally arrived at on the basis of the time spent multiplied by the hourly billing rate of the lawyers involved in the matter. Our fees include the usual secretarial and administrative assistance and sometimes long-distance telephone calls, faxes, courier costs or any other charges payable by us to third parties in connection with the discharge of our work. These additional services are billed at cost.
We are always prepared to estimate the likely fees for a particular brief and will on request provide regular information as to fees accrued or a breakdown of our invoices.
The firm is also sometimes pleased to agree special fees for work of a continuing nature reflecting the nature of the transaction, possible client retainer relationship, time or other factors at the discretion of the overseeing partner.
