We act for a number of protection and indemnity (P&I) clubs. We usually work through their local correspondent offices to assist their owners/charterer members in obtaining caveats against arrests and detentions or to seek to obtain their releases as appropriate. We prosecute and defend actions against receivers, shippers and other carrier interests for cargo claims, collusion, demurrage, hire fees etc and to obtain the pursuant undertakings and guarantees.

In addition we advise carriers and insurance interests on issues arising from carriage of goods by sea, air and land and the international transport conventions vis-à-vis local COGSA and applicable insurance legislation.
